Jeny Brill

The works on this page are representative of women role models.  They come from my desire to celebrate women, from the past and present, who's voices bare listening to.  The composition, texture and colors of each environment is intended to not only define the woman but welcome the viewer into her space.  I've chosen to give them each a mermaid tail as a symbol of the Goddess within them.  Each piece (with the exception of Temple Grandin) is encased in a handmade wood box with a frame and sealed with museum quality glass.  The boxes that contain each environment defines the limitation of each women's influence.  Not seeing what you're looking for?  Contact me to commission a personalized piece of your favorite person or animal.
